A project template is a ready-made blank for a specific type of work. It is installed into a project as a separate plugin and brings what that work needs: skills, rules and empty file templates. Core of Forma is independent of the template — the protocol’s general rules stay the same for any project.
Why it is needed
A template predefines the work experience — a route the project would otherwise have to build from scratch. When the interview reaches the fifth position, Intent takes the template’s route as a reference: checks it against what the human needs and builds out what is missing.
Where a template comes from
A template is born from experience. Kit collects statistics and knowledge graphs; experience builds up from them, and from experience — a template that can be applied again. A human can ask to build a template from the current project: it gets a separate plugin under the chosen name in the template catalog of the Forma marketplace.
What states a template can be in
- Ready and verified — the route is passed to the result; the fifth interview position comes down to a check.
- Formed with the human — the route is partly recorded: what is recorded is checked, what is missing is built.
- None — the zone is unknown, no route exists, all five positions are worked out in full.
Example
Template forma-wordpress-novamira — WordPress site development via Novamira MCP and Elementor. It includes two ready-made skills for safe deployment and page building, and an installer for an empty blank with the architectural snapshot of a specific site. Each project’s snapshot is its own and is not transferred between projects.
Installation: claude plugin install forma-wordpress-novamira@forma.
