Case Studies

Case studies are breakdowns of specific situations from working with agents under the Forma protocol. The first piece in the category, “Analysis: how an agent quietly drifts off course at step fifty”, describes a familiar scenario: the agent keeps working with confidence but gradually moves away from the original task, and it is hard to notice until the result diverges from what was expected. The category exists so that such cases are examined in detail: what was there at the start, where the divergence appeared, and which signs could have been seen earlier. General conclusions come after the analysis, not before it. The tone is restrained: the aim of these breakdowns is not to point at anyone’s mistake, but to make it recognizable next time. Each analysis covers one situation, so the reader can compare it with their own work.
